The consumer goods company, Honest Co. co founded by Jessica Alba, which built its reputation by stating that it uses natural ingredients, denies a newly surfaced report that says the company's detergent contains an undisclosed ingredient known for causing skin irritation.
On Thursday, in a report posted on its website, The Wall Street Journal said it tested laundry detergent made by Honest Co. at two laboratories and both found it containing sodium lauryl sulfate.
